Was a good game. Kalaheo is peaking at the right time. good ball pressure by the Mustangs and sloppy ball handling by Big Red; the fouls at the end, especially that Technical (questionable???) really hurt Big Red. Couple of more made free throws would’ve helped Big Red too. But, Kalaheo balled out and deserved the win.

Get’em back in States Big RED!!!

That was a great game. I have a soft spot for underdogs. I especially like their work ethic and willingness to not back down from what was obviously a really good team in Kahuku. Hats off to both teams and good luck in States.

all i can hear is the fainted red raider chant.. Tolu is a good player, but the rest of the team relied too heavy on him. maybe kahuku will come back with a better recruiting class next year? they’ll still be tough in the states, but if they continue to rely on 6’10, you’re better off playing 3 vs 5.

WOW, Just Relived Kahuku football; the way their basketball team fell apart in the OIA championship last night. Bad coaching, Up 38-18 in 3rd qtr, No adjustments, (6’10) tallest player with only 1 FG in 3rd qtr, silly fouls down the stretch, crucial missed FT’s, stupid technical, and to top it off, the player that doesn’t run out of bounds in the football championship throws the ball off the gym roof with 1 second left then under-throws it with 0.9 seconds left. Just a bad game overall. Good Luck in States

That very questionable technical called on Kahuku was costly. Came at such a critical time in the game and Kalaheo started draining huge 3s. The opening round in states is gonna be loaded.
