Let the ILH have their own Recruit Bowl of players they bought and stole out of public school communities. The true state championship is an all public school tournament where people play for their communities, not this b.s. where you can buy championships

Private schools should be banned from awarding athletic scholarships. Any student who is awarded an “academic scholarship” should be banned from playing interscholastic sports.

An all ILH final? Maybe. I’m not counting out Moanalua who has Oahu’s longest current winning streak at 13 games. OIA east teams can ball. It’s a shame we don’t get to see Kameron Ng in this tournament or even Damien and Farrington compete with the D1 teams. There are some good boys basketball left to be played.

Nobody be fooled by the seedings. It’s gonna be an all ILH final for the state basketballl champioship. Just as it was in soccer, volleyball. Too muich recruiting going on nowadays. OIA only get chance if they get a transfer back home from the ILH. That’s the ojnly way Kalaheo won their last 2 state titles. Kahuku too, mainland Poly transfers. Kaimuki in 1993 – Yugoslavian transfers for play just 1 year.
