Many many great players from late 70’s to 1985. I’m guessing we was in the star bulletin at that time?

I also played 15 years in Europe as well. I believe the longest out of anyone from the islands.. Sure do miss playing ball back in da days. Brings back a lot of memories.

Brandon Cablay, Konawaena. Went on to Vanguard University, then a long career in the PBA. Think he was MVP of the championship series his rookie year for Alaska Milk.

Between ’88-’97? Off the top of my head, I only can think of Alika Smith (I think Europe) and Kahi Villa (I think Philippines).

Oh yeah, cuz never have division 2 state tournament – had to play D1. I am also reminded from this article of how much the 1994 season was packed with multi-sport studs.

The Lee kid was more of a difference than those transfers.

Had a 6′-5″ haole center, 2 starters from Yugoslavia. How did 2 guys from Yugoslavia ever end up on Kaimuki’s team??
