Mid-Pac did some amazing things under Hirata while he was there. They could’ve easily gone down to D2 and got more media hype than they did but I respect the fact that they stayed up and grinded out the tough ILH schedule with the big boys in D1 for so many years. I, too, hope to see the day when Mid-Pac achieves ILH dominance.
