i dont see these rules being applied lol. If you go to Mililani Mauka Field, Kapolei , Kapiolani, Manoa, Ewa beach, Salt Lake, you see these 7 on 7 s going on with well over 200 people on the field not to mention the parents on the side mingling. Nobody listens , all they do is move around parks . And when they get busted, once the cops leave , they go right at it again. The system is a joke. If these things can go on with these so called rules in place, might as well just start up high school sports. Its a mockery. Some of these teams have cops that are coaches lol. So its really a stupid to put these rules out if the very own so called leaders are breaking the rules.

Close the fields at Kap. Park until Tier 4, they close the fields every Aug. or Sept. for Maintenance. People no listen then take it away.

I don’t blame those soccer players and other outdoor gatherings at all. They ought to enjoy what they do outdoors. Diamond Head Theatre is allowed to hold performances INSIDE. How can our kids not be playing OUTDOOR sports when DHT can hold performances-shouting, singing, laughing, etc. in a closed building?

Go by Kapiolani any afternoon. It’s been out of control for months. Pick up soccer games with 20 people per game, club soccer everywhere, rugby, volleyball gatherings, now there’s a football team in pads with at least 40 boys. Guess they pick and choose who they want to reprimand. Also like to see how these schools are going to squeeze in football, baseball, softball, track & field, volleyball in 2 1/2 months with all these protocols. Assuming they will be doing Varsity sports only.

Thank you Councilwomen Tupola and Chad. The Spring sports lost last year and if we lose again two years in a row, that’s half their high school career. We can play with safe protocols.
