Three records set at OIA West track

Three records were broken at Saturday’s OIA West track and field championships at Mililani.

Radford’s Izaiah Lavatai won the boys 400-meter run in a record time of 49.38 seconds. Miliani’s Aukahi Nolan cleared 14 feet, 4.50 inches to set a record in the boys pole vault. Mililani’s Vanessa Roybal set a new meet record in the girls 3,000 with a winning time of 10:54.76.

Campbell scored 90 points to edge Kapolei (83) for the girls team title. Campbell also won the boys team title with 132. Mililani will host Friday’s Honolulu Marathon Invitational and Saturday’s OIA JV Championships.

    Additional Record: Kaiser High School girls also broke the OIA East Varsity 4 x 400m record of 4 min 17 sec with a time of 4 min 11 sec.
