Soccer: Another Mililani sweep

Mililani has long been known as the center of high school soccer in Hawaii, and on Thursday they proved it yet again.

The Mililani boys opened the OIA season with a 5-0 win over Waianae on Thursday, getting two goals from Kalahikiola JUdd and one each from Anthony Menor, Jarad Choquette and Aukahi Nolan.

The girls traveled to Waianae to beat the Seariders 2-0. Kailana Kaeo and Tia Furuta both scored, giving them at least one goal in both of Mililani’s league games this year.

The Mililani boys are off until Tuesday when they play Nanakuli and the girls host the Golden Hawks the same day.

OIA boys get busy for real on Friday night with Leilehua at Aiea, Nanakuli at Campbell, Radford at Kapolei, Moanalua at Kalaheo and Waialua at Waipahu.

In the only ILH action on Thursday, the Saint Louis boys forfeited a game to Kamehameha.
