Defenses ruled in the first day of Kapolei’s Prep Soccer Showcase, with only one of the four matches having teams score more than one goal.
Three of them went to shootouts, with Kalani winning the only match outright, 1-0 over Baldwin.
The tournament takes Thanksgiving off before picking up again on Friday at Kapolei.
