Waianae’s Mauga adds Pac-12 offer

Waianae defensive end Kanai Mauga picked up his third scholarship offer on Friday.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound junior announced the offer from Washington State on his Twitter page.


The Cougars have had a heavy recruiting presence in the islands in recent years and picked up Kailua senior defensive end Christian Mejia for their 2017 class.

Washington State has also offered Kahuku defensive end Samson Reed out of the 2018 class from Hawaii.


Mauga has also been offered by Hawaii and Oregon State.
