I can’t believe Rich Miano just flat out blamed Walter Murray for UH losing that BYU game! The dude dove for the ball that was way in front of him and made a damn good effort. On the other hand Rich makes himself look good by showing his interception in the same game. “WOW”

Everyone is saying it’s unfair that the ILH only has one team in states but NO one is saying it’s unfair that the ILH recruits the best athletes from around the state which should be considered unfair to OIA teams? Let all Open teams recruit then pick the 4 best for states!
Please cover this on Cover 2?
Even Rich had to recruit to win his DII title!

Rich doesn’t belong anywhere near high School sports. He’s lived here for how long and still can’t pronounce names correctly. Let’s not mention his shenanigans over at Kaiser.

    @ ???
What is your definition of recruiting?
    Does ILH recruit?
    Does OIA recruit?
From a coach’s & players view does playing a team that “recruits” change your game plan or attitude?

Recruit: simple answer, to persuade someone to join your team!
Yes ILH recruits & some OIA teams recruit. The difference is it is legal in the ILH & illegal in the OIA.
It does change your game plan!
Common sense tells you your basketball team of 5 foot 7 players from Waialua going against 6 foot 6 players from Punahou has no chance to out-rebound them or beat them on the inside, so you run & gun & shoot 3’s.
Your attitude is to always give your best but i’ll take Punahou 99 out of a 100 times!!
