Amosa Amosa can become the first coach ever at Campbell to post five consecutive winning seasons with another good year this season.

The Sabers, ranked No. 7 in the Star-Advertiser Preseason Top 10, figure to contend in the OIA Blue, although figuring out how to stop defending state champion Mililani will determine how far they can go.

Running back Terell Johnson returns on offense as the Sabers will have to break in a new quarterback. Anthony Pablo graduated and Ezra Savea transferred to Kapolei.

The Sabers will play six true road games and two more at Aloha Stadium during the regular season. They also have to replace six all-state football players lost to graduation in Solomon Matautia, Jayce Bantolina, Dylan Villanueva, Tristan Ludiazo, Josiah Mageo and Abiel Taito.
