Saint Louis junior Tua Tagovailoa is the No. 1 uncommitted quarterback for the Class of 2017 according to Scout.com.
Tagoaviloa is rated as the No. 40 overall prospect at any position and fourth among quarterbacks in the latest rankings released on Thursday.
The top three are Bishop Gorman QB Tate Martell (Texas A&M), Guyer’s (Tex.) Shawn Robinson (TCU) and Valor Christian’s (Colo.) Dylan McCaffrey (Michigan).
In fact, Tagovailoa is the only one of the top seven quarterbacks still uncommitted.
Tagovailoa picked up an offer from Alabama on Thursday to give him 17 total. CBS Max Preps ranks Tagovailoa sixth among QB’s in the class of 2017.
