Slade-Matautia offered by UW, Arizona

In a matter of 24 hours, Isaac Slade-Matautia’s world has been rocked in a very fine way.

The Saint Louis junior-to-be is having a superb performance in the current Nike Regional camp in Oregon, and also was selected to a co-top defensive performer and linebacker MVP honors at the GPA Maximum Exposure Camp at the University of Hawaii two weeks ago, have opened the eyes of Washington and Arizona. On Saturday, Washington made a scholarship offer, and Arizona followed suit today.

Chad Ikei, well-known trainer and co-organizer of the GPA Camp, shared the news on his Facebook page.


Slade-Matautia arived at Kaiser as a freshman. He moved to Las Vegas briefly, then wound up at Saint Louis as sophomore, where he was required to sit out one football season by rule. Slade-Matautia has grown into a 6-foot-1, 225-pound prospect.
