Waste time this game. Not going be close. Coach Freitas just got off the phone with me. I gave him the game plan to beat the Crusaders. It’s over. Kahuku Nation, you are welcome.

  2. Oahu for life November 18, 2017 12:27 pm

I just hope if st.louis does lose that they shake hands after the game…Maybe even stay for the trophy announcement…you figure a school with saint in its name would of had more character the other year when they loss….good luck boys

  3. Knation November 18, 2017 12:27 pm

I think st.louis is going to win this round. There offense is always explosive but it’s there defense that amazed me last week. They destroyed mililani offense. They truly have the best offense and defense in the state not to mention kahuku is banged up so it could be a run away game for st.louis.

  4. 88 November 18, 2017 12:38 pm

@Knation, can you read? The game is already over. I gave Kahuku the game plan. That’s all she wrote.

  5. Leeboy November 18, 2017 1:28 pm

    @88
You are funny buddy. You have no game plan, you need the 2015 defense. Last time I checked you were shinning the Koa head for us.

  6. KOH I NOR November 18, 2017 1:31 pm

Kahuku win is in the making tonight. They are a big team. Difference? The quarterback.

  7. Ikaika Nakoa November 18, 2017 2:05 pm

is there a way to listen to it on the radio or live stream it?

  8. Coach C November 18, 2017 2:12 pm

See the multi personality, multi name stalker is lurking. All 3 games looks good. D2 game just started with both Lahainaluna and Konawaena both beating the D1 competition on their island. Actually both are the D1 champs for their island. Go Red.

  9. Coach C November 18, 2017 2:26 pm

With both D2 teams booming the kickoff into the end zone, when will Hawaii HS get rid of the automatic touch back? Let the play makers play. If the team wants to knee it, so be it. Colleges also give scholarships for return artist. C’mon man.

  10. Grabum.by.da.puppy November 18, 2017 3:12 pm

  16. Dafun November 18, 2017 4:46 pm

It’s amazing when clearly St. Louis has the better team and these guys still believe kahuku has a chance. You guys almost lost to Mililani and it ended up being a blowout. Good luck to you

  17. Coach C November 18, 2017 5:56 pm

Lol, D2 game in its 6th overtime like 66 tied. Luck if the D1 game starts at 11 pm. No more 3 games.

BOOM. PICK.FIRST PASS. TD KAHUKU. BOOM.

  22. Coach C November 18, 2017 11:28 pm

Should have kicked a field goal on 4th down.

  23. 88 November 19, 2017 1:08 am

Lose money. Coach never follow the game plan I gave him. Kahuku I am not to blame. If they followed what I told them to do, game over and winnas by at least 21.

  24. Coach C November 19, 2017 1:11 am

Great heavtweight game. No doubts. Clock management, good defense on both sides. Nice to see both teams postage hand shakes.

  25. Too Meke 2 November 19, 2017 1:14 am

So 88/anywaaays/too meke, what happened to that vaunted Kahuku defense? St. Louis put up 31. Lucky they never put up 45. STL had the ball in the red zone 2 times more and the QB made bad decisions with the ball. If he protects the ball and doesn’t fumble, then doesn’t throw it into coverage, most likely STL scores 45.

  26. 88 November 19, 2017 1:16 am

Coach C beat it. You just spit mumbo jumbo. What in the world do you coach? It ain’t football. That’s all I know for sure.

  27. TooMeke November 19, 2017 1:23 am

Congrats to St L…and da refs. I guess holding our D-lineman by da facemask is not a penalty…aaaaallllll night.

Great game – would’ve been greater if da refs actually you know…reffed.

Good luck to all the St L seniors moving on (most of the starters)… and all of Big Red’s seniors (not that many starters). We will be back in this game next year.

and good night…finally. fricking 4:30am… maybe next we can five games same night…smh.

Win or lose – no mattah. RRFL!!

  28. Tokotoko November 19, 2017 1:29 am

Great game!! Congrats Crusaders, that was an epic comeback. Be proud Big Red, you had the #4 ranked team in the nation up against the ropes in the closing seconds of the game. That, in itself, is a tremendous accomplishment.

    KALAEPOHAKU……Back 2 Back State Champs!

  29. Oahu for life November 19, 2017 1:33 am

Wish the ref new how to tell time…the time was stopped when it clearly was supposed to be running…the refs ruin it for the kids… good game thpugh…kahuku offense still put up more points 28 to st.lpuis 24 besides the defensive pick 6….

  30. ??? November 19, 2017 1:43 am

Stl o-line held Kahuku D-line the whole damn night. I did not care who won but kahuku must be frustrated to deal with the refs again like the Mililani game. With all that recruited talent stl get I thought it would be a blowout. Hats off to kahuku!!

  31. Knation November 19, 2017 1:46 am

Good game from both teams. Congrats to the crusaders.

  32. BleedRed November 19, 2017 1:46 am

Congrats to both teams on an awesome game, both teams played like champions, too BigRed,you did the community proud, to my Red Raider social media family, why can’t we just be happy for the kids of both teams, when we win, a lot of you act like we defeated the world but when we lose, its either whining about recruiting or the referees. No excuses, both teams deserved to win, plain and simple.Stop with the excuses, set a better example for our youth. GOBIGRED

  33. anywaaaays!! November 19, 2017 1:48 am

Good job Kahuku! You did Red Raider Nation proud by competing hard even though the refs were completely one sided and biased. There’s no other way to explain this. The refs were told to be anti-Kahuku.

The ILH Agenda runs deep and even the refs were paid off to make Saint Lulu win. Saint Lulu will just recruit even harder next year because even with the refs on their side, we still almost pulled it off. RRFL!

  34. Dafun November 19, 2017 1:49 am

    Excused from Kahuku fanboys

  35. Too Meke 2 November 19, 2017 1:56 am

@ Too Meke, stop fricken crying.

    Scoringlive’s unofficial stats.

    St Louis Penalties – 8
    Kahuku Penalties – 9

Looks pretty damn fair to me. Officials did a great job. It’s unfortunate that girls like Too Meke has to always make excuses. He can’t do better. He’s too busy being a keyboard warrior.

  36. Too Meke 2 November 19, 2017 1:59 am

I am impressed by how fast Too Meke can write another post and use his second username, “anywaaays.”

    RR4L

  37. Love da Aina November 19, 2017 2:28 am

So 88 – about that game plan that you garins ball barins’ guaranteed a Kahuku win…what give, how you so wrong, eh?

  38. ilh November 19, 2017 2:35 am

All of you that are acting as Kahuku fans or are true fans stop the whinning, you lost and that is it, enjoy the long ride back to Kahuku, and you can now remove all your signs along the highway on the North Shore that Kahuku is State Champions, also you can burn or trash all your premade tee shirts that reads Kahuku State Football Champions, sorry that you have to wait till next year to try again, a long of season to deal with. Congrats Crusaders for another State Championship.

  39. ??? November 19, 2017 2:44 am

    @Too meke2
9-8 penalties sound fair but go figure, Kahuku’s penalties always on their Big plays! What game were you watching?

  40. Auwe November 19, 2017 3:03 am

Plain and simple! Bad clock management at the end by kahuku coaches! First thing you would tell your offense is to stay in bounds lol! And to put your DB 1 on 1 with no help over the top is well! You know the word.. Great game by both teams and congrats to st Louis. And yes I was at the game and saw all the holding but it was all their O-line could do to protect their QB! As for all you adults dissing all the kids need to get a grip! Didnt see any of you on the field tonight lmao. Give your keyboards a rest. Game pau already! Good luck to all the seniors from all over the islands! Hope to see a lot of you playing at the next level! Hawaii definitely has some talent!

  41. JustSaying November 19, 2017 3:03 am

Out coached again…..out, hitch, fade mixed up all game by the crusaders and no adjustment by the DC. Less than a minute left you would think we play some kind of prevent D and keep everything in front of us but we man up and they beat us over the top???? Should have been able to run out the clock but instead of running plays up the middle we decide to run plays that take us towards the side lines and we run out of bounds so St. Lou dont have to use 2 timeouts. Coach Makoa cool under pressure. The OC and DC hit the road. 28 points is more than enough to win a football game. Oh yah and the 28 points isnt play calling….its our athletes that pull it off. Enough crying about the refs and the recruiting. We beat ourselves year after year. Congrats Crusaders on the win……see you guys again next year. RR4L

  42. Auwe November 19, 2017 3:46 am

By the way saw all the true RRFL at the school waiting for the team to get back! Not all the ones just show up when they win lol! Posers!!
Have a feeling these two will be at it again next year in the championship game! Also congrats to hilo and the Luna’s on their wins!!

Lots of holding on the Kahuku side too that wasn’t called. Rematch the game. Always excuses. Let’s hope the Kahuku kids don’t turn out like the morons who post here. You the enemy of the state not became you win, but because how you act when you lose, fuams

The coaches and the community should be proud of the players display of the “no quit attitude”. The kids are the future! It’s obvious that everyone that stepped on the field tonight are winners. I did not see any losers. Winning and Losing is relative. It’s character that needs improvement daily. BE PROUD HAWAII !

Congratulations to everyone !! All Winners tonight !! The losers will show up 10 years from now. Then we will all know what did we teach!!

Congrats to all the kids for a great game. This Saint Louis team just ran the gauntlet. They beat both the number 2 and number 3 team in back to back weeks. Kahuku played a great game, better than I thought they would so give them props, unfortunately, they came up short. St. Louis made more than a few mistakes and appeared to have an emotional let up after the pick 6 when they went up 24-7. Saint Louis could have easily scored two more times if they didn’t have breakdowns, 1st and Goal on the 7 and came away with no points, and the interception from the 2. Thought they might have been better off running a speed option, flood but give credit to Kahuku for making the stop, after the tip.

It is unfortunate that instead of having the class to congratulate the team that won, there are those that can’t just be good sports and congratulate the winners. Like I said when I criticized the seeding, all the kids are winners, some would win a state title and some wouldn’t. If the roles had been reversed, I would have congratulated Kahuku and left it at that. Win with class, lose with class. It’s a high school football game and wish all the kids who are moving on to play at the next level luck and take advantage of all the opportunity that it brings you. You can only play football for so long, and even if you have the talent to play beyond college, education is more important. So wish all the kids luck.

Don’t make excuses, don’t blame the refs, don’t blame the coaches unless you yourself are willing to get out there everyday and do what those coaches do. Kahuku’s coaches deserve credit, they played a more talented team and came real close to beating them.

For those that continue to blame everyone one and fail to take responsibility. Quit your whining and just man up. It’s unbecoming and says more about you that anything else can. When you win be humble, congratulate all the kids and coaches, when you lose, you do the same. SMH.

Remember someone has to win, someone has to lose but all the kids are winners for getting there. Don’t think anyone got seriously injured so that’s a plus too.

It’s a high school football game. It was a great one.

St. Louis just beat the number 3 and the number 2 teams in the state in back to back weeks. That team and the coaching staff may deserve the label as greatest of all time. Don’t think that’s ever been done before, certainly not with that ridiculous seeding.

All you fakas out there. Don’t blame my game plan. They never follow em. They did at times which allowed them to scored 28 points. But at times they never and it got them into trouble. As for the refs they suck all the way around. Just like our play calling sucked at times. I might have to come out of retirement to bring a title back to the North Shore since it seems they cannot win without me.

Crazy Seeding = Education First. Anyone with half a brain could see how biased the refereeing is. There needs to be an investigation over this season. This is three games in a row that this happened. Anyone who doesn’t see this is a blind Kahuku hater. Saint Lulu not only recruits, but apparently they pay off the refs too.

Anywaays, quit being a whiner. Have some class. I was complimentary of Kahuku, I think they played above their level, which is a credit to their coaches. I played D1 Football at a school in the Midwest. You win with class, you lose with class. Blaming the refs is classless. A winner doesn’t make excuses. I took a look at the videos that are hung on the website, you could have easily called holding on the Kahuku on the 8 yard touchdown pass, there were at least two Kahuku lineman holding but if you have ever played this game, you know that happens on every play because of rule changes over the years. It is what it is.

SL could have easily scored three more times where they made poor calls, choices, or just had mental breakdowns. The interception on the 2, Cordiero could have lead that receiver and put more loft on that ball, the kid was wide open. The series that started on the seven that resulted in a fumble was a complete loss of concentration. The fumble by Cordiero. But all of that is part of football, it happens. If you want to get technical about it, Kahuku’s O line was holding like their life depended on it, they were playing against better athletes. I played ILB, OLB and Rush End in a 4-3 in College and almost all of the time when you are manned up against an O lineman who is running a 5.5 40, when you run a 4.6 or 4.7, you are going to beat that guy one on one. The only way most of those O lineman can even attempt to stop it, is by holding or getting help, it happens almost every play, it’s whether it gets called or not. Since penalties were about dead even in this game, I think you are just whining. Just take it like a man and say good game and best of luck to all involved. That’s what people who have character do. Probably asking too much.

But you missed the collective point of the post. Have some class and quit whining. I can tell you that if it had been the other way, I sure as hell wouldn’t make myself look like the ass you are making yourself look like as well as bringing a bad name to all the good fans of Kahuku who don’t act like this.

Saint Louis just beat both OIA teams. Nuff said. Saint Louis didn’t play it’s best game last night but they did enough to win. You should just leave it at that.

Crazy Seeding/Education First: the only person whining here is you and your multiple fake user names. You deny the evidence in front of your eyes about biased refereeing because you hate Kahuku for some reason and want to see us lose to the ILH agenda.

The evidence is plain to see: The mililani game in the OIA finals. The waianae game in the state semis. And now this game. ALL THREE games involved terrible calls (or non calls!) against Kahuku at big moments in order to swing the momentum to the other team.

I will always be a die hard RRFL win or lose until the day I die, even if the refs are in cahoots with Cal Lee to rob us of the championships we deserve. A true champion doesn’t buy championships with corrupt officials. They earn it on the field.

    RRFL!
