Kealakehe goes three and out on its first series. Raiders get a nice 22-yard punt return by Helam Baldomero to set up a seven-play, 36-yard scoring drive. Conor Hannum scores on a 21-yard strike from Jarin Yokogawa. IOL 14, KEAL 0, 7:07, first quarter.


Raiders drive but stall at the 14 with their third QB. Keoni-Kordell Makekau blasts a 39-yard field goal. IOL 17, KEAL 0, 3:36, first quarter.

Raiders drive 20 yards (after a 33-yard punt return by Baldomero) in five plays. Hannum with a 5-yard slant pass from Yokogawa for the TD. IOL 24, KEAL 0, 10:27, first quarter.

Pascua’s second effort gets him out of a pack and through the secondary for a 26-yard TD jaunt. IOL 37, KEAL 0, 3:06, second quarter.

Running clock in this second half. The Raiders committed their first turnover, a fumble on a QB/RB exchange, but also got an interception by Chad Sanehira in the end zone on a fourth-down, Hail-Mary-ish launch by Markus Degrate, who has played fairly well despite the circumstances.

    This ought to prove that Iolani is a D1 team and should always be one.
