Game time! Mililani has won the last four meetings and nine of the last 10. Winner remains unbeaten in the OIA Blue. Loser falls behind. The third unbeaten team, Farrington, has a bye this weekend.

First quarter
A shanked 17-yard punt sets up a 40-yard scoring drive for Campbell. Austin May scores on a 1-yard blast. CAM 7, MIL 0, 6:09.

Second quarter
Ezra Savea throws an INT, Mililani returns it to the Campbell 37, and they no-huddle to the end zone. Vavae Malepeai’s 1-yard run up the gut ties it up. MIL 7, CAM 7, 10:54.

Time out, MIL, 7:34. Fourth and 4. Malepeai left the game after an injury. He walked off after being laid on his back for about 5 minutes.

Savea overcomes his early miscue and launches a 47-yard bomb to Jayce Bantolina. CAM 14, MIL 7, 3:20.

Campbell could’ve run out the final 2 minutes, but instead, Savea’s deep pass is picked off by Tielu Mamea, who streaks up the sideline 42 yards for a TD. After Campbell jumps offside on the PAT kick, Rod York calls time out, sends his offense on the field and Malepeai runs it in off right tackle. MIL 15, CAM 14, 1:16.

Third quarter
Sabers need just three plays to drive 72 yards. Terrel Johnson scores on a 35-yard run. Two-point pass from Savea to Reiny-Aloy in the corner is good. CAM 22, MIL 15, 7:50.

Trojans answer with a 10-play, 68-yard drive. Timoteo’s in route equals an 11-yard TD strike from Milton, but Timoteo’s right shoulder is injured on the play. MIL 22, CAM 22, 5:26.

Both defenses are lagging, missing tackles and stuck in the mud. It’s a hot, sticky, humid night and the no-huddle offenses of both teams are gaining the advantage. Johnson scores again, a 41-yard jaunt to the end zone. The PAT snap is high, holder is sacked. CAM 28, MIL 22, 4:01

This is turning into a video game on warp speed. Mililani takes the lead, driving 69 yards in our plays. A 60-yard kick return by Bronson Ramos set up the 31-yard scoring drive. Milton wasted zero time getting the ball snapped four plays in a row with Malepeai blasting in for a 9-yard TD. MIL 29, CAM 28, 3:12.

Fourth quarter
Milton breaks loose on a keeper for a 74-yard TD run, untouched. MIL 36, CAM 28, 11:33.

This is very Oregon-ish. Another Mamea pick, on a great dive. Trojans drive and score on Milton’s 14-yard corner toss to Bronson Ramos. MIL 43, CAM 28, 8:17.

Milton to Bryson Ventura on a 15-yard corner route. MIL 50, CAM 28, 3:35.

Jacob Botello’s 47-yard INT return for a TD caps the scoring.

FINAL: Mililani 57, Campbell 28.

    Sorry ’bout that rubbers 🙂
My brain was fried. Keeping stats and shooting video for Mililani games is FUN, but at the pace their offense plays at, I can only hope to keep up.
