8:44: AJ Tania picks off Kailua backup Raynen Ho-Mook for a 35-yard pick-six. Santiago’s PAT is good and the Mililani lead is now 52-0 with 6:47 left.

8:38: Venaiah Meleisea hauls in a 42-yard pass from Gabriel for another touchdown. Santiago’s PAT is good and it’s 45-0 with 10:12 left in the fourth.

FOURTH QUARTER

8:31: Kailua picks up one first down and barely misses out on another before punting. Mililani takes over from its 40 with the clock winding down in the third quarter, and the Trojans will just let the clock expire as we head into the fourth.

8:27: A rare three-and-out for the Trojans offense. Kailua will take over with approximately four minutes left in the third from their own 25.

8:25: Kailua fumbles a snap on a punt but recovers to down the ball at the Mililani 41. We’re almost halfway through the quarter.

8:19: The second half is underway with the Surfriders taking over from their own 22.

THIRD QUARTER

7:59: We’ve reached halftime with the Trojans leading 38-0. Kailua will receive to start the second half, and the running clock will be enabled then.

7:57: Gabriel and Chang connect again, this one for a 6-yard score. Santiago’s PAT is good and it’s 38-0 Mililani with 16 seconds left in the half.

7:54: Trojans call a timeout facing fourth-and-6 at the Kailua 33 with 36 seconds left in the half.

7:51: Weber is picked off by Justice Gapusan and the Trojans take over at the Kailua 48.


7:41: We’re nearing running clock territory as Darius Muasau punches it in from a yard out. Santiago’s PAT is good and the Trojan lead is 31-0 with 5:05 left in the half.

7:34: The Surfriders pick up a couple of first downs, but are forced to punt again. The Trojans get the ball back on their own 20 with 7:35 left in the half.

7:25: ANOTHER ONE. Raysen Motoyama refuses to go down until he reaches the end zone for a 24-yard score via Gabriel. Impressive second effort on that play. Santiago’s PAT is good and it’s 24-0 with 10:06 left in the half.

7:22: Mililani is driving again. They’re now on the Kailua 33, prompting the Surfriders to call a timeout. Gabriel is 10-for-16 so far with 271 yards and a few drops.

7:20: Another three-and-out for Kailua. Mililani takes over on its own 40 with 11:04 left in the second quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

7:15: We’ve reached the end of the first, with the home team leading 17-0. Dominating performance so far for the Trojans.

7:12: Santiago’s 28 yard field goal attempt is good and the Trojans lead 17-0 with 22 seconds left in the first.

7:08: Kailua quarterback Cole Weber is picked off by Storm Su’a and the Trojans take over in Surfriders territory.

7:05: Another long pass from Gabriel to Josiah Sampaga puts the Trojans at the Kailua 11, but they can’t capitalize after Santiago’s 27 yard field goal attempt is blocked. Surfriders take over with 3:01 left in the first.

7:01: The Surfriders pick up a first down but their drive is stalled by a penalty call. Mililani takes over from their own 24 with 3:55 left in the first.

6:53: TOUCHDOWN MILILANI. Gabriel is firing on all cylinders early on, hitting Reichel Vegas for a 43-yard score with 7:58 left in the first. Santiago’s PAT is good. Gabriel is 6-for-8 with 149 yards and two touchdowns. Both of his incompletions were drops.

6:48: Three-and-out for Kailua. Trojans will take over from their own 17 after the punt.

6:44: TOUCHDOWN TROJANS. Right off the bat, Dillon Gabriel completes two passes, the second one a 61-yard score to Ryan Chang. Damien Santiago‘s PAT is good and it’s 7-0 Mililani with 11:28 to go in the first quarter.

6:42: Mililani and its high-powered offense will start from its own 29.

6:40: Mililani will receive to start this game.


FIRST QUARTER

6:23 p.m.: Mililani wins the JV game 41-0.

    It’s funny how people think Kahuku recruits! Players choose to come and play for the red raiders, and a lot of players are from this community that moved away and wanted to come back and play for their school! @Education first brah you’re such a loser for putting the Kahuku kids down! I can bet you anything that most of these kids would put you on your ass! What kine adult you? Make you feel good about yourself to belittle some teenagers? Grow up you fairy!
