10:15: TOCUHDOWN ROOSEVELT. Kekahuna beats his man to the edge for a six-yard score. Isaiah Rosa rushes in the two-point conversion. 30-10 with 1:42 left.
10:12: Kalani calls its last timeout with 1:54 left with Roosevelt facing third-and-goal from the 6.
10:08: Roosevelt still milking it here, forcing Kalani to call its second timeout with 3:26 left in the game.
10:04: The Rough Riders are milking the clock with ease, they’re now in the Kalani 26 with 5:15 remaining.
9:57: The Falcons turn it over on downs and it’s been all Roosevelt for some time now. They take over on their own 22 with 10 minutes left.
9:48: TOUCHDOWN ROOSEVELT. They run the play-action to perfection and Kekahuna fins Tasi Sofakini WIDE OPEN for a 38-yard score with 11:39 to go. They go for two but Kekahuna is stuffed at the line. Roosevelt leads 22-10.
9:45: FUMBLE. Tina-Soberano tries to extend a play but coughs it up in the process. The Rough Riders take over at the Kalani 38 with 11:47 remaining. With the way the game is going, a score could make Roosevelt’s lead insurmountable.
FOURTH QUARTER
9:42: End of the third. The Falcons have been absolutely stagnant since taking a 10-0 lead, but do they have enough in the tank to take the lead? Only time will tell.
9:38: The Rough Riders punt for real this time for a touchback, 2:07 left in the third.
9:31: Kalani’s offense comes up empty again and the Rough Riders will take over on their own 25, 4:48 left in the third.
9:23: ROOSEVELT TAKES THE LEAD. Kukahiwa takes a handoff 32 yards TO THE HOUSE. Kekahuna punches it in for a two-point conversion and the Rough Riders are now up 16-10 with 7:09 left in the third.
9:20: Three-and-out for Roosevelt, put they fake a punt as Myka Kukahiwa picks up 25 yards for a first down.
9:18: The Falcons pick up a couple of first downs but turn it over on downs at the Roosevelt 37. Tina-Soberano has been ice-cold this half with four consecutive incompletions.
9:08: Kalani will start the half on its own 30 with 11:51 left in the third.
THIRD QUARTER
8:47: Kalani doesn’t make much of the remaining time and we’re at the half with the Falcons leading 10-8. They’ll receive to start the second half, but the Rough Riders have to be pleased with the way they closed the first half out.
8:44: TOUCHDOWN ROOSEVELT. Shastyn Kekahuna punches it in from two yards out and bulldozes his way in again for a two-point conversion. 10-8 Kalani, 45 seconds left in the half.
8:42: The Rough Riders are now on the Kalani 2 with 51 seconds left in the half. A long drive for them.
8:37: A nice drive here for Roosevelt. They’re really wearing Kalani’s defense down with a handful of rushers, and milking clock in the process, intentional or not. They’re now on the Kalani 30 with 2:14 left in the half.
8:34: Rough Riders go for it on fourth down in their own territory, but it pays off. They’re now at midfield with a fresh set of downs.
8:31: Tina-Soberano is picked off in the end zone by Jared Elwin, and the Rough Riders take over from their own 20 with 7:02 left in the half.
8:29: Quite an eventful drive here for Kalani. Despite penalties and losses, Tina-Soberano has the Falcons driving with a couple of junkyard plays, keeping plays alive with his feet and avoiding sacks. Fourth-and-12 at the Roosevelt 32.
8:21: Falcons take over from their own 27, 11:47 left in the second quarter.
8:20: Three-and-out for the Rough Riders, which has been every possession out for them so far.
SECOND QUARTER
8:19: We’ve reached the end of the first here at Roosevelt, with the visitors leading 10-0. The Rough Riders face third-and-three from their own 34 to start the second.
8:17: Three-and-out, this time from the Kalani offense. The Rough Riders will look to cut into the lead, starting from their own 28 with 50 seconds left in the first quarter.
8:13: Another three-and-out for the Roosevelt offense. Kalani takes over from its own 37 with 1:55 left in the first.
8:11: Roosevelt’s next drive starts from its own 29.
8:10: They line up to kick and it is…good. Mcclellan knocks in a 34-yarder right down the middle with some leg on it. Kalani extends its lead to 10-0 with 3:57 left in the first quarter.
8:09: Facing fourth-and-goal from the Roosevelt 17, the Falcons call timeout. They originally lined up for a 34-yard field goal, but let’s see what they draw up here.
8:01: Another quick three-and-out for Roosevelt, who have thrown just once in total over their first two possessions. Kalani takes over at midfield with 6:41 to go in the first.

7:56: TOUCHDOWN. Kalani is on the board first. Tina-Soberano dives in for a four-yard score. If he’s still hurt, he’s certainly not playing like it. Wayne Mcclellan‘s extra point is good and the Falcons lead 7-0 with 8:25 to go in the first.
7:52: Tina-Soberano is now 2-for-3 with 20 yards. Falcons are driving, now on the Roosevelt 23 with 9:37 to go in the first.
7:50: Kalani quarterback Seth Tina-Soberano makes his return after a rib injury kept him out last week in a 49-0 loss to Waipahu. It’s safe to say they missed him. He rips a screen pass for 13 yards on his first attempt.
7:48: Very quick three-and-out for Roosevelt, and they gain just one yard. Kalani takes over on its own 37 after the punt, 10:50 left in the first.
7:45: Rough Riders will start on their own 20 after the kickoff.
7:44: Roosevelt will receive to start this game.
FIRST QUARTER
