GAME NIGHT 9/16: Kalani/Waipahu

There will be at least one undefeated team remaining in OIA Division II after tonight — and maybe two — if Waipahu can beat Kalani in the first game played on the new field at Kaiser Stadium. Kalani hasn’t beaten Waipahu since 1972 when Fancy Misipeka was carrying the load. That’s 10 losses in a row.

Kalani quarterback Seth Tina-Soberano (ribs) will not play tonight. Falcons hope to have him back for Roosevelt game next week. Senior Justin Gatewood expected to get the start at QB.
