No. 7 Campbell 7, Aiea 7, 2:00, Q1

Na Alii put together a determined, piecemeal drive with a lot of short passes by QB Ty Matsunami. They convert on a key fourth and 3. Inside the 10, they turn to Ferenisi Lualemana, a 5-9, 330-pound defensive tackle. He lines up at QB, gains 1 yard. Then he fumbles, looks like he was going to throw, recovers. Finally, fourth and 6, he finds Teron Kitashima on a jump pass at the line of scrimmage. Kitashima is wide open at the goal line, 8-yard TD pass. WOW.

No. 7 Campbell 7, Aiea 0, 8:59, Q1

Strange but true. Campbell drove to the Aiea, 10, committed three penalties in a row, took a 15-yard sack and fumbled (and recovered) before QB Krenston Kaipo connected with Poki‘i Adkins-Kupukaa on a 40-yard bomb for a TD. Kupukaa already has four receptions for 100 yards after breaking the school record for receiving yardage (204) last week against Farrington.

Campbell will receive the opening kickoff. Conditions are breezy, around 10-20 mph, clear skies, still warm with the sun going down.

    Aiea football,
maybe a different coach might turn the program around. The students deserve to see their football team win. I guess the school or community like what Say is doing.

    same thing different year.

Say is teaching these kids valuable life skills. Losing is just as much a part of life as winning. The discipline that thsee kids learn from football will stay with them forever.

I’m sure these kids learn discipline from Say. Maybe next game! But, it would be nice to see Aiea football win. Go and win the next game Aiea!
