9:14: Kalani’s 43-yard gain on a Tagataese pass brings the ball to the Trojans’ 28.


9:11: Trojans stall and punt.

9:09: On third and 1, Motoyama gains 2 yards for a Mililani first down.

9:08: Farrington punts.

8:57: After a 46-yard Gabriel to Vegas pass, Gabriel hits Kuboyama-Hayashi with a 15-yard TD strike. McGehee tacks on the extra point. MILILANI 57, Farrington 15, 1:37 to go in the third quarter.

8:54: Two sacks, by Mililani’s Manu Penitani and Javon Olomua,deny Farrington. Trojans take over at their 30.

8:50: Govs have a fourth down and inches. Tagataese keeps it for 4 yards to the Mililani 5.

8:48: A roughing the passer call gives the Govs new life — after a Layton Kam sack for Mililani.

8:44: Millare returns the kickoff 57 yards to the Trojans’ 33.

8:20: Mililani stalls and punts after a 21-yard Gabriel to Mystik Sampaga pass.

8:17: Farrington punts and pins the Trojans at their own 2.

8:11: Millare continues to show his stuff, catching a 32-yard pass from Tagataese to the Mililani 31.

8:07: Mililani strikes right back. Four plays later, Gabriel nestles the ball in Vegas’ hands for a 38-yard TD strike. Vegas makes the catch despite double coverage. McGehee kicks the extra point. MILILANI 50, FARRINGTON 15. 3:54 to go in the first half.

8:03: There is more life for Farrington. Tagataese finds some space to roll right and finds Millare down the right side with a 37-yard touchdown pass. Farrington fakes a kick, and Millare runs in the 2-point conversion. MILILANI 43, FARRINGTON 15, 5:09 left in first half.

8:00: Tuiolemotu and Chris Cady give chase to Tagataese and the Farrington QB is wrapped up around his legs for a 9-yard loss by Tuiolemotu.

7:59: Govs go nowhere and punt. Trojans muff the punt and Calijah Mareko recovers for Farrington at the Mililani 28.

7:53: Gabriel re-enters and throws a 5-yard scoring toss to Kuboyama Hayashi. McGehee kicks the extra point. MILILANI 43, FARRINGTON 7, 8:34 left in first half.

7:52: The Mililani defense holds Farrington to 1 yard on the next three plays. Farrington lines up to punt, but the snap goes through the hands of the punter and Mililani takes over at the Farrington 5.

7:50: According to the Spectrum TV crew, Javar entered the game after Gabriel and coach Rod York were seen arguing.

7:46: Jarren Gapusan recovers a fumble for the Trojans at the Farrington 10. After two Motoyama runs, backup QB RJ Javar fakes a handoff up the middle and runs around left end untouched for a 5-yard TD. The conversion run fails. MILILANI 36, FARRINGTON 7, 10:12 left in the first half.

7:39: Tuiolemotu lines up as a fullback and leads Motoyama into the end zone from 5 yards out. It’s Motoyama’s second TD of the game. McGehee kicks the extra point. MILILANI 30, FARRINGTON 7, 11:54 to go in second quarter.

7:38: First quarter ends.

7:37: Trojans have a second and goal from the 5.

7:35: Mililani driving again. Proven wide receiver Ryan Chang is getting into the act. He has three receptions on this drive that started at the Trojans’ 26, including one for 23 yards.

7:28: Selau Kalani picks up 12 yards and a first down on two runs for the Govs. The get as far as the Trojans 26, but on fourth and two, Tuiolemotu stops Kalani for no gain. Mililani gets the ball back.

7:27: Governors will start at the Mililani 46.

7:26: Gabriel throws three incomplete passes on Mililani’s next possession. The Trojans punt.

7:22: Farrington just woke up. Raymond Millare takes the ensuing kickoff 91 yards or a touchdown, showing a burst of speed, and then after midfield, a second gear. Andre Elijah Juan Cabuco kicks the extra point. MILILANI 23, FARRINGTON 7, 5:31 left in first quarter.

7:19: After an 11-yard Gabriel to Kuboyama-Hayashi connection, Raysen Motoyama goes around right end for a 5-yard TD run. McGehee kicks his third extra point. MILILANI 23, FARRINGTON 0, 5:47 to go in first quarter.

7:16: Gabriel has nobody open so he takes off to the left for a 13-yard gain to the Farrington 15.

7:15: Trojans are driving again. Raysen Motoyama catches 19-yard pass from Gabriel.

7:11: On Farrington’s first-down play, Tagataese rolls right and is caught in his own end zone by Mililani’s Ezra Save for a safety. MILILANI 16, FARRINGTON 0, 7:10 left in first quarter.

7:09: On first down, Gabriel finds Reichel Vegas open in the right corner of the end zone. McGehee makes the extra point. MILILANI 14, FARRINGTON 0, 7:26 left in first quarter.

7:08: On Farrington’s next possession, Mililani defensive lineman Mykah Tuiolemotu strips Tagataese of the ball and Trojans teammate Mark Pasternak recovers at the Govs 13.

7:01: Cy Kuboyama-Hayashi sprints down the right on a skinny slant and catches a dart from Gabriel. He breaks one tackle and is off to the races for a 58-yard TD. Earlier, a Farrington pass interference penalty helped the Trojans along. Liam McGehee kicks the extra point. MILILANI 7, FARRINGTON 0, 8:36 to go in the first quarter.

6:57: Govs get just one yard on three downs and punt.

6:55: Richard Tagataese is the Farrington QB.

6:53: On second down, Mililani QB Dillon Gabriel is sacked by Farrington’s Levi Hau-Kautai. Trojans stall and punt.

6:50: Trojans start on their own 38.

6:49: Kickoff goes OB. There will be a re-kick.

6:48: Mililani will receive the kick. Farrington is defending the East end zone.

6:46: Captains going to midfield.

6:43: Mililani won the JV game 46-12.

6:42: The teams are singing their alma maters.


6:38: Starting the the national anthem and Hawaii Pono’i.
