Former Pearl City quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, who spent the last two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute, has committed to Ole Miss.

Ta’amu chose the Rebels over offers from New Mexico, Minnesota, Eastern Kentucky and Southern Mississippi.

Three weeks ago, he was named Southwest Junior College Conference player of the year after finishing with 3,190 total yards and 38 touchdowns this past season.

Ta’amu will sign with the Rebels next week and enroll next month.
