Punahou’s football team is up to No. 12, rising two spots in the weekly Student Sports West Region Top 10 released earlier in the week.
Punahou, 6-0 entering this weekend’s matchup with Saint Louis, was 14th last week. The Buffanblu leaped ahead of Hamilton (Ariz.) and Vista Murrieta (Calif.). De La Salle remained the No. 1 team in the region.
Punahou edged Saint Louis 35-32 on Friday to improve to 7-0 overall.
The West’s top team, De La Salle (Calif.) is ranked fifth in the Student Sports Fab 50 national rankings.
