3 Hawaii football players honored

The 2015 graduating class featured considerable star power this past football season and three players from Hawaii high schools received national recognition on Student Sports’ Junior All-America teams.

Saint Louis offensive lineman Fred Ulu-Perry made the second team. Two defensive linemen, Farrington’s Breiden Fehoko and Kamehameha’s Mika Tafua, were honorable mention picks.

Another name familiar to Hawaii football fans earned a spot on the team. Austin Kafentzis, the son of former University of Hawaii cornerback Kyle Kafentzis and a quarterback at Jordan (Sandy, Utah) High, also made honorable mention.
