Punahou is top D-I state volleyball seed

As expected, Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Punahou is the No. 1 seed in Division I for this week’s New City Nissan Boys Volleyball State Championships.

The other three seeded teams are No. 2 Moanalua, No. 3 Kamehameha-Hawaii and No. 4 King Kekaulike.

In Division II, another ILH champion, Hawaii Baptist, earned the top seed.


The state championships run Thursday through Friday, with the D-I and D-II finals on Friday at Blaisdell Arena.
