Jake Tsukada doubled and drove in three runs and Punahou knocked out Saint Louis in the ILH double-elimination tournament with a 10-7 victory on Wednesday.

Despite getting outhit 11 to six, Punahou and ‘Iolani both clinched state tournament berths with the Buffanblu’s win over the Crusaders.

The two teams will play Thursday at Central Oahu Regional Park with the winner needing to beat Mid-Pacific twice to win the tournament.

‘Iolani finished second and Punahou third in the regular season. A Punahou win tomorrow would mean the two teams would play off for second and third if the Owls win the tournament to claim the ILH title and a seeded berth in states.

Matthew Saeula finished with three hits and scored twice and Noah Tory went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs for Saint Louis, which finished its season 8-11.
