KS-Hawaii’s Spaar commits to Temple

Kamehameha-Hawaii sophomore Nani Spaar has committed to play volleyball for Temple University, according to Pilipa‘a Volleyball Club Coach Chris Leonard.


Over the summer, the 6-foot outside hitter played with Pilipa‘a at the USA Volleyball National Junior Championships, then trained at the USA Volleyball Select A2 Camp in Colorado Springs, Colo.


Former Kamehameha (Kapalama) standout Mia Heirakuji is a junior libero at Temple. Former Moanalua outside hitter Gabby Matautia also played at Temple.
