Kaahaaina-Torres leads ILH volleyball all stars

The ILH announced its girls volleyball all-star teams over the weekend as voted on by league coaches.

In Division I, ‘Iolani senior outside hitter Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres was named the player of the year while Kainoa Obrey of ‘Iolani and Chris Blake of Kamehameha shared coach of the year honors.

Le Jardin senior Natalie Piper won player of the year honors in Division II with Damien’s Don Faumuina the coach of the year.


Lanakila Baptist senior Shayne Punua won the top honor in Division III with St. Andrew’s Trina Casabar the coach of the year.

The complete all-star teams in all three divisions are listed below. In Division I, the ILH put three hitters, three middles and a libero on the first team and three setters, two hitters, a middle and a libero on the second team.
