Campbell catcher Jocelyn Alo continues to reap awards.

On Monday, Alo was named to the CBS MaxPreps All-American Softball first team for 2017.

Alo is a two-time state player of the year and a member of the Sabers’ squad that has captured three state championships in a row. She is also a wrestling state champion.

Recently, Alo was also named to the Hawaii High School Hall of Honor, arguably the most prestigious award for high school athletes in the state.

Thirty-two players made the national first team, and Alo was one of three catchers.

A recent Campbell graduate, Alo will be moving on to play for two-time defending national champion Oklahoma on scholarship.
