Kapolei DB invited to 2018 Polynesian Bowl

Kapolei senior Dylan Toilolo, who played on both offense and defense for the Hurricanes this season, has been invited to the 2018 Polynesian Bowl. Toilolo, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound safety who has also played linebacker and running back, was an All-State first team selection as a junior linebacker at Saint Louis. Darren Hernandez can’t seem to shake Alex Kane. Last week, the Kapolei coach passed the Kailua legend in career wins and this week he can match him with an even bigger victory. Highlights, Aiea at Kapolei, OIA Division I playoffs, Friday, Oct. 6, 2017. Kapolei eliminated Aiea in the opening round of the playoffs, 41-0. QB Lonenoa Faoa passed for 240 yards and two TDs, WR Titus Mokiao-Atimalala had 10 catches for 126 yards and a TD, and Dylan Naehu had two sacks for the ‘Canes.
