Ron Durant is the new boys basketball coach at three-time ILH Division II champion St. Francis School, according to co-athletic directors Chad Konishi and Duane Eldredge.
The ADs also announced that Chris Hoe is the new head coach of the Saints girls basketball team.
Last season, Durant led Kamehameha II to a 5-4 record and a third-place finish in ILH Division I-AA.
Durant succeeds Sol Batoon, who coached the Saints through most of their first four seasons in varsity play.
Hoe takes over for Cole Pacarro after serving as an assistant for Pacarro last season, when the Saints went 8-1 and finished second in ILH D-II.
