Yadao, Hirokane pace OIA West bowling

Pearl City’s Kristopher Yadao rolled a high game of 236 to pace the Chargers to a total team pinfall of 2,756 on OIA West Bowling at Schofield Lanes on Thursday.

The Chargers were followed by Kapolei (2,277) and Waipahu (2,169). The Hurricanes were led by Jaysten Jones‘ high game of 187 and Anthony Brett’s high series of 518 and Daniel Odette-Spillner led Waipahu with a 233 and 574.

Yadao also had the high series of the night with a 668.


Kayana Hirokane of Campbell had the best game on the girls side with a 210 and finished with a 515 series for the Sabers.


Mililani’s Erin Ohta trailed Hirokane with a high game of 177 and high series of 522 but led the Trojans to the highest team total with 2,384. Pearl City was second with 2,329 pins behind Chelsi Morishige and Leilehua was third with 1,891 led by Gwen Maeha‘s 167 and 476.


Gabrielle Quimino of Waipahu had the high series of the night with a 528.
