Hawaii Baptist’s first state title in girls cross country came in dominating fashion. The Eagles placed four girls in the top 10 to claim the Division II title at Saturday’s Honolulu Marathon/HHSAA State Championships at Central Oahu Regional Park. Entries are out for this weekend’s Island Movers/HHSAA State Track and Field Championships at Keaau High School. Kaiser senior Kristen O’Handley has the top qualifying marks in the girls high jump (5 feet, 5.25 inches), 400-meter dash (58.05 seconds) and 200 (25.30). O’Handley won the 100 and 200 last year.
