Kamehameha won a thriller over Tsinghua in consolation play despite missing key free throws down the stretch.

A 22-4 third-quarter run lifted the Lancers out of a tight battle with the Raiders. Tyler Funk and Gabe York led Lutheran with 12 points each. Dylan Rice added 11 and James Douglas had 10.

Micah Christenson scored 17 points as the Warriors fought off a late Dragons rally.

Yuliang Hou led Tsinghua with nine points.

The Dragons were down 34-31 in the final minute and had two chances to tie the game after Kamehameha missed the front end of two 1-and-1s. Christenson hit a foul shot to give the Warriors a 35-31 lead with 15 seconds left, sealing the win.
